Joe Maranville

I am a graduate student in the Di Rienzo lab at the University of Chicago. I am interested in the genetic basis and evolutionary origin of human phenotypic variation, with an emphasis on health-related traits. Currently, I am using genomics tools to investigate the cellular response to steroid hormones, with the eventual goal of identifying genetic variants that can predict response phenotypes.
